Hello! My name is Joanne Kaced I have one of the best jobs in the world spending my day with amazing people and children. I’m lucky to spend time at both Heyhouses Nursery and Heyhouses School teaching children across the Foundation Stage. I have two gorgeous girls who would love a dog but instead we have two goldfish. I love being creative and especially enjoy being in the outdoors, both at work and in my spare time.
I am Mrs Holdsworth and I work in the office with Mrs Williams, I am the main contact for the After School & Breakfast Clubs which operate for nursery children and those children who are in Reception and Year 1 at Heyhouses Primary School. I started working in nursery at the same time as my little boy joined Heyhouses Nursery, in 2014. In my spare time I love going for long walks on the beach with my dog.

My name is Mrs Lamb. I started working at Heyhouses Nursery October 2020. My role is a Nursery Assistant at Heyhouses Nursery. I enjoy helping and supporting the Nursery Teachers. Part of my role is preparing a healthy snack for the children, it’s an enjoyable time for the children to sit together and have happy, conversations about the day.I have a lovely daughter Charlotte who attends Heyhouses C of E primary school.I love spending time with my family and friends and taking my dog Sukey for walks on the beach. .
Hello, my name is Mrs Jean Knight and I am a key person to the Forest Group as well as an ENCO Equality Champion. I have worked in Nursery since 2019 and have enjoyed seeing the children grow and return to Nursery as Gold Caps in Year 6 to play with our little ones. My son now attends the local High School and I love spending time with my family, going for long walks and swimming.
My name is Miss Whiteside and I have worked at Heyhouses Nursery since July 2017. I am part of the Beach group, we love singing and playing musical instruments. I am also the After School & Breakfast Club Leader working not only with the nursery children but also children who are in Reception and Year 1 at the primary school. Hi, I am Mrs Naylor and I am a Qualified Nursery Assistant. My role is to prepare the snacks and serve lunches and keep the nursery clean and tidy. I love playing with the children and, as I was born in Brazil, English is my second language so the children really help me with my words, they are great teachers.

I have worked in Nursery for nearly 20 years and feel privileged to work with all these wonderful children. I have 3 grown up children and am kept busy with 7 grandchildren.
My name is Miss Porter and I started working at Heyhouses Nursery in January 2019. I enjoy getting to know all the children and love story time where I like to read to the children with many different character voices! Outside of Nursery I have been involved in Scouting for the past 14 years and I run a local Beavers group. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, going for long walks, canoeing and archery.
Hello, my name is Mrs Swarbrick. I have worked at Heyhouses Nursery since September 2010. At Nursery I enjoy all things messy! I also enjoy music, dancing and all celebrations! I have a very special teenage son who came to Heyhouses Nursery many years ago! In any spare time I enjoy music, exercising and everything Disney.

I have 2 daughters of my own, the eldest is at high school and the youngest currently attends Heyhouses School. I really enjoy watching the children grow and develop during their time with us. Hello, my name is Mrs Lennon and I have recently relocated from Manchester to the Fylde area. I have worked in Early Years Private Day for many years , working for large established Nursery chains in senior management roles. I hold the NVQ Level 3 qualification in Early Years Care and Education and also the Specialist Teacher Assistant Award. I continue to develop my skills, knowledge by embarking on courses and reflecting daily on my practice. I have recently made an application for study for 2022 at Blackpool and Fylde College for the Childhood studies BA qualification. My interests in my free time are, fitness training, healthy living and cooking. I really am looking forward to being part of the Heyhouses team, encouraging, supporting and providing children with opportunities to learn, discover, experience and have fun though play.
