Hi, I am Mrs Brown. I have the very official title of ‘Nursery Business Manager’, but I do more than work in the office, co-ordinating sessions & fees etc. I will turn my hand to any task which needs doing, from covering breakfast club to taking out the recycling! I work with a wonderful, dedicated team of staff who work very hard to care and educate the children in our nursery.
Hi, my name is Nicola Dale-Hutchinson and I have worked at Heyhouses Nursery since 2011, I am part of the Dolphin Group. At nursery I enjoy doing lots of baking activities with the children going on our special seasonal walks around the school site. I have two children of my own one is at the High School and one at Heyhouses C of E Primary School. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my family.
Hello! My name is Joanne Kaced I have one of the best jobs in the world spending my day with amazing people and children. I’m lucky to spend time at both Heyhouses Nursery and Heyhouses School teaching children across the Foundation Stage. I have two gorgeous girls who would love a dog but instead we have two goldfish. I love being creative and especially enjoy being in the outdoors, both at work and in my spare time.
I am Mrs Holdsworth and I work in the office with Mrs Brown, I am the main contact for the After School & Breakfast Clubs which operate for nursery children and those children who are in Reception and Year 1 at Heyhouses Primary School. I started working in nursery at the same time as my little boy joined Heyhouses Nursery, in 2014.
My name is Miss Kelly, I started work here in 2001 and I am the Deputy Manager. I love being with Mrs Stevens in the ‘Wonderful Whale Group’. I have a daughter called Eva who attends Heyhouses C of E Primary School. I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
My name is Mrs Mason. I have worked at Heyhouses Nursery since 2005 and I love being a member of staff here. I am a Key Person for the Dolphin Group and have been privileged to work with lots of lovely children and their families over the years. I really enjoy being involved with baking, music, singing and creative activities at nursery. I have 4 children of my own, 2 girls and 2 boys. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit by taking classes at the local gym.
My special job in nursery is key person to the Turtle Group with Mrs Swarbrick. At nursery I especially enjoy reading stories, singing songs, baking and getting messy in the creative area.My favourite book is Stick Man. I like spending time with my family, going to the beach and to the park. I enjoy visiting friends and family.
My name is Miss Whiteside and I have worked at Heyhouses Nursery since July 2017. I am part of the Turtle group, we love singing and playing musical instruments. I am also the After School & Breakfast Club Leader working not only with the nursery children but also children who are in Reception and Year 1 at the primary school. I have a daughter who attends Heyhouses School and in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and reading.
I have worked at Heyhouses Nursery since 2015. I work with Miss Whiteside to lead the Breakfast Club and I work closely with the two year olds. I have 2 daughters who both attend Heyhouses C of E Primary School. I work within the ‘Penguins’ group and thoroughly enjoy my role as the Two Year Old Co-ordinator. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family.
Hi, I am Mrs Naylor and I am a Qualified Nursery Assistant. My role is to prepare the snacks and serve lunches and keep the nursery clean and tidy. I love playing with the children and, as I was born in Brazil, English is my second language so the children really help me with my words, they are great teachers.
My name is Mrs. Eunson, I have been with nursery since October 2015. I really enjoy being outside with the children and I particularly enjoy Group Time, as the children always look forward to sharing their news. When I am not working I enjoy baking, the staff particularly enjoy my Lemon Drizzle cake! I also like to spend time with my husband and two children.
My name is Miss Porter and I started working at Heyhouses Nursery in January 2019. I look after the Penguin Group which is made up of mostly 2 year olds. I enjoy getting to know all the children and love story time where I like to read to the children with many different character voices! Outside of Nursery I have been involved in Scouting for the past 14 years and I run a local Beavers group. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, going for long walks, canoeing and archery.
My name is Mrs Ward, I have work at Heyhouses since 2002. I am the Deputy Manager working closely with Mrs Kaced and Miss Kelly to lead and support the team. I am also the Special Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo). I have grown up children and four grandchildren who I love to spend time with. I enjoy working with the children as every day is so different.
I am a mum of two lovely boys, Harvey and Liam, and have worked here since 2014. My role at Heyhouses Nursery is to support the children at lunchtimes and at the end of the day. I am part of the After School team, collecting the children from school, preparing tea and planning activities for the older children, generally taking care of their welfare at the end of a busy school day. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and friends.
Hello, my name is Mrs Swarbrick. After my son left Heyhouses Nursery in July 2010 I loved it so much that I stayed on as a volunteer! I studied and achieved my Level 2 in Early Years and then did Level 3. Shortly afterwards a vacancy became available for a Nursery Nurse. I applied for the post and was delighted to be offered the position. I especially enjoy music and creative activities and seeing the children grow and develop during their time here at Heyhouses Nursery.
My name is Mrs. Lowry and I am the oldest member of the team at Heyhouses C of E Nursery! I have two grandsons who attend Heyhouses C of E Primary School, who have both attended the nursery. I live with them now and am known as ‘the Granny in the Attic’! I have had a long career in childcare, I opened and managed not only the first Neighbourhood Nursery but also the first Children’s Centre Nursery in Cheshire. So I bring to Heyhouses lots of experience and really enjoy the role I now have.
My name is Mrs Walker and I am a new member of staff, joining Heyhouses Nursery in September 2019. I am very excited to be involved in the After School Club, as I also work with reception, year 1 and year 2 children at Heyhouses school. I am a Councillor for Heyhouses Ward, and recently got married at Lytham Hall. In my spare time I like to read and play games, and take my lovely rescue dog 'Koops' for long walks.
My name is Miss Strother, I have been volunteering at Nursery for the past 5 years and from September 2019 have become a permanent member of staff, working with the After School Club. I am an ex pupil of Heyhouses Primary, and also do welfare work at a local primary school. In my spare time I enjoy running, going to the gym and I continue my voluntary work at Aspired Futures, a local childrens' charity.
